The Minors divisions are competitive kid-pitch baseball divisions for players ages 9 to 11 (as of 8/31/24).
The Minors division may be split into two divisions:
- AAA - primarily for kids with one year of Minors experience (some 10-year-olds and some 11-year-olds)
- AA - primarily for kids coming out of Rookie (9-year-olds and some 10-year-olds).
Under exceptional circumstances (such as a safety issue identified by the VP of Player Agents and with approval of the District Administrator) a 12-year-old may be allowed to play in AAA but is not allowed to pitch. In addition, a lesser skilled and/or experienced 11-year-old may play in AA with VP of Player Agents approval.
Practices are at the discretion of the coach and there are usually 2-3 baseball events per week; a practice and 1-2 games per week being the most common.
Coaches' kids are automatically assigned to the team with their parent.
