SPRING SEASON 2026

San Francisco Little League offers gender-inclusive baseball programming to youth ages 4 - 16. SFLL's 2026 spring season will run from February 23 through May 17 (Tee Ball, Farm divisions) or May 31 (Rookie - Majors Divisions).

REGISTRATION GUIDELINES (AGES 4-16)

YOU CAN REGISTER IF YOUR CHILD HAS A BIRTHDATE BETWEEN SEPT 1, 2009 AND FEBRUARY 23, 2022.

REGISTRATION FOR ALL BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL DIVISIONS will open October 6, 2025 and will close on October 27, 2025, or when a division reaches capacity (whichever comes first). We will accept waitlist sign-ups after the registration window closes. Players must have a birth date between 9/1/2009 AND 2/23/2022 to play baseball in the 2026 Spring season.

REGISTRATION FOR CHALLENGER BASEBALL (BASEBALL FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS WITH PHYSICAL OR INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES) will open November 1, 2025 and close on March 1, 2026.

TEE BALL
Register for this division if your child was born between February 23, 2021 and February 23, 2022 and either A) played Tee Ball in Fall 2025; or B) is new to San Francisco Little League/has never played baseball.

Register for this division if your child was born between September 1, 2018 and August 31, 2020 and either A) played Tee Ball in Spring 2025; or B) played Lower Farm in Fall 2025; or C) is new to SFLL and does not have prior baseball experience.

Register for this division if your child was born between December 31, 2009 and December 31, 2019 and wants to play softball. Please note SFLL has not had a softball division for several years due to low registration.

SFLL does our very best to place all children on our waitlist if we are able. We encourage you to continue your registration even if your division is in Waitlist status. If you are accepted from the waitlist, you will be notified via email.

About Little League Ages

Your player’s league age is determined by the Little League Baseball® and Little League Softball® Age Charts. The dates for baseball and softball are different, but each determines the division in which your Little Leaguer will play this season. The Age Determination Date for a Little League Baseball player is the actual age of a child on August 31 of the current season year. The Age Determination Date for a Little League Softball player is the actual age of a child on December 31 of the previous season year. Learn more.

What is a Skills Evaluation Session (SES)?
SES is not a “tryout"! It's an opportunity for our coaches to evaluate your player's baseball skills to help us place them in a division that is both safe and challenging. Stay tuned for more details about the process and your specific SES appointment day and time later in the month of November.
