Registration for 16-and-under baseball is now open on a waitlist basis only.
KID-PITCH BASEBALL - Sundays, September 11 - TBD (October 30 or November 6, 2021)
TEE BALL and FARM BASEBALL - Sundays, September 11 - TBD (October 23 or 30, 2021)
Fall Ball starts in September and ends in early November. All games are played on Sundays which makes it much easier to plan your schedule in advance of the season. The season is developmental at all levels and this means that there are no scores or standings and umpires are not assigned to games. Parent volunteers serve as umpires, calling balls and strikes from behind the pitcher.
From Minors and above, the season ends with a round-robin series of games where scores are kept and umpires are used.
FEE
Registration fees for the 2022 Fall Ball season are $200 for Tee Ball, $275 for Farm, and $350 for Kid-Pitch Baseball.
We want you to play ball with us regardless of economic circumstances. The online SFLL application form includes a menu option to request a fee waiver due to economic hardship, and offers options to pay a reduced fee--or to request a 100% fee waiver. You will also be asked to provide a brief statement online supporting your fee waiver request.
LITTLE LEAGUE AGE
A player's Little League Age for the Fall 2022 season is determined by their age as of August 31, 2023.
DIVISIONS
In the Fall we do not carry out skills evaluation sessions (SES). Players are placed in the divisions we expect them to play in the Spring of 2023, but this can change following the Fall season and after the player participates in an SES in advance of the Spring 2023 season.
Players must have a Little League Age of 4 or 5 to play in San Francisco Little League's Tee Ball division.
The Tee Ball division allows for coaches to make group requests. Coaches' kids are automatically assigned to the team with their parent but group requests of up to 10 players can be submitted if that group secures volunteer commitments for a head coach, an assistant coach, and at least two practice assistants.
Group requests must be submitted by the head coach to the Registration Coordinator and the Tee Ball Player Agent(s) by 8/1/22. Such requests must include the player names, school, grade, and parent email for the players involved. We ask that the coach registration be submitted within five days of registering your child. Player Agents may disallow a group if it upsets the balance on a team and/or in the division.
Players with a Little League Age of 6 or 7 generally play Farm. Less experienced players with a Little League Age of 8 may also play Farm. Upper Farm is for older or more experienced kids and Lower Farm is for younger kids with less baseball experience.
The Farm division allows for coaches to make limited group requests. Coaches' kids are automatically assigned to the team with their parent but a head coach may also request up to three additional players for their team subject to the League guideline that limits the number of players from the same school to a maximum of four and in the same grade at the same school to a maximum of three.

Players with a Little League Age of 8 and less experienced players with a Little League Age of 9 will play Rookie in the Fall.
Players with a Little League Age of 9 or 10 and who played Rookie in the Spring will generally play Minors. Players with a Little League Age of 10 and some with a Little League Age of 11 will also play Minors.
Skilled players with a Little League Age of 11 who have played Minors and are ready to move up and almost all kids with a Little League Age of 12 will play Majors.
Players with Little League Age of 13 and 14 will play in our Juniors 60/90 division. If we run a Seniors 16U division, some 14 year olds may be placed there.
We are accepting registrations for players with Little League Ages of 16 and 15. With enough registrations we will run a Seniors 16U division. Highly skilled 14 year olds may be asked to play Seniors 16U.

Our League is always looking for good coaches. Fall Ball is less demanding and a great way for new coaches to test the waters and for experienced coaches to keep in touch without the time demands of the Spring season. We hope to confirm coaches by mid-July so please get those applications in now.
