Senior and Big League Program

San Francisco Little League offers baseball for high school kids. Our program is designed for the following types of people:

1. Players that did not make their high school baseball team but want to continue to play baseball.
2. Players that decided to stop playing interscholastic baseball to concentrate on other sports, but would like to continue playing baseball outside their school environment.
3. Players that made their high school team and will play with their school sponsored summer league team, but would like to play baseball in the window between the school and the summer season.
4. Players that play on their high school team, but don’t have a summer league option.

Last year we had players from all categories playing with SFLL in our Seniors (15-16) and Big League (17-18) Divisions.

Play beginnings in May and there are two age divisions. Registrations begins in April. For more info go to Register for Senior/Big League

Our program typically starts the week after the conclusion of the regular high school baseball season (first half of May) and ends by the first week of July. We play between 14-18 games a season—about two to three games a week including some doubleheaders. Practices are determined by the individual coaches.

Our Senior teams will play against other San Francisco teams.

Our Big League teams will play against other San Francisco teams as well as teams from the Peninsula, Marin and the East Bay.

Since we are part of the National Little League Program, we participate in a post-season tournament of champions for our best teams and in an All-star tournament with a team made up of our best players.

We are very proud of our volunteer coaching staff. Each coach is evaluated after each season. More than 80% of our coach each year received good or excellent raitings from their players.

As with all the programs offered through SFLL, we focus on offering a great baseball experience to all of our players. We do this through offering high quality coaching and training and through creating a community of players and families that makes participation in our league a fun and enjoyable experience for all.

If you are interested please complete the on-line application and we will be back in touch in the March-April timeframe with specifics on pre-season activities. If you would like to get further information you can contact any of us.
