Farm

Farm Level Softball

Farm is the introductory level for softball. The goal of the Farm Division is to introduce core softball skills such as throwing, catching, hitting, fielding, team work, and an enthusiasm for the game. Farm games are coach pitch and scoreless. There are no standings or playoffs. Teams commit to play one game per week, typically on Sunday, and practice one day per week. Players are primarily 6-8 years old but inexperienced 9 year olds may also play Farm with Softball Commissioner approval. A highly skilled 8 year-old may play in Minors with Softball Commissioner approval. The fees of farm are $25 less than other divisions.

Players in the Farm Division only may request to play in groups of a  maximum of 3 players (no exceptions) but only if EVERY family agrees and provides a parent as a Coach for the group. To be part of a group, each family must submit an email to the Registration Coordinator that confirms participation in the group by January 20, 2012.  The Softball Commissioner has the option of disallowing a group if it upsets the team and/or division balance.

2012 Spring Farm girls softball is now closed.

The Registration "Spring 2012 Softball Registration" is not currently available.
