The baseball Gods did not smile on SFA Sunday in their 8-4 loss to SFN as a half dozen shots to the outfield found SFN mitts, and another pair of line drives found infielder's mitts. To their credit, SFN made the plays. Each team had to work to score in a game in which the lead was never more than two runs through 4 1/2 innings. James Crutcher limited SFN's potent line-up to 5 runs over 4 innings to keep it close. This loss closes the chapter on a team of the finest group of young men to ever take the field.
