Novato South withstood a late, furious comeback from the SFN All-Stars to take a 9-8 win in 8 innings at Dunphy Field in Novato. The "City Stars" went into the 5th inning down by 5 but big timely hits from Will Seward, Kai Moody and Casey Merryman along with 2 strong innings from Jackson Driver sent the game into extras. Casey Merryman worked out of a bases loaded jam in the bottom of the 7th before Novato South broke through for the winning run in the 8th.
